most of what i shoot happens after sundown or at speed. a car show under sodium light, a ballgame beneath the stadium banks, the aurora coming up over the lake. the frame is the half second the eye almost missed.

small body, long reach.
sony zv-e10. aps-c sensor with a 1.5x crop, so every lens reaches further than its number says. light enough to shoot a full game without a strap burn.
tamron 70-300. about 105-450mm equivalent on this body. the sports lens: outfield from the stands, faces from the far end of the rink.
28-70. about 42-105mm equivalent. the walkaround lens for cars, pits, and people.
16-50. about 24-75mm equivalent. wide enough for a whole arena or a whole sky.
